Nowadays, there’s an abundant ways to entertain yourself. Many of us spend afternoon, evenings, and weekends entertaining ourselves via food outings, seeing a movie in the theatre, or just lounging around at home binge-watching the latest show on Netflix, Hulu, or whatever streaming network we are currently subscribed to. All of these events are free to attend, and, in doing so, you are supporting your local library.

Invite the neighbors offer for some drinks and get to know one another. You can even throw a “cupboard potluck” by going through your cupboards and seeing what you can throw together from items lying around. Not only can you potentially make new, good friends, but neighbors can serve as a valuable resource if you need someone to house sit.
